Happy birthday!
On 02 January 2009, All over the house was one year old. It’s amazing to think we’ve made it this far already; and I have to say it has been a fun journey.
In just one year we’ve gone from a set of rather crude, black-and-white jokes put up twice a week with little in the way of movement in most comics, to a more fluid, rounded and above all, coloured, comic that runs three times a week.
It’s really been an amazing ride and I have to say it has been a pleasure to bring these comics to you. Here’s to another year – and hopefully many more after that!
Happy birthday!

We rock the big one – or whatever weird-talk that you usually say.

I believe you may be referring to the oft-quoted phrase: “We r0xx0r teh b1g 0n3!!!!!1oneoneeleven!”

Thanks, dud3.
Hang on, do people still say ‘dude’ or did I just show my age?
*worries*

You’re asking the wrong guy – ‘ve seen too many decades myself to know the current street slang…fortunately, there’s always Google….
January 5th, 2010 at 12:21
Hmmm… this ‘Google’ thing… how do you do it? Is it another youth slang for something I’d rather not think about? Where are my teeth? I put them down here somewhere…
*ahem* Sorry about that. I don’t know what came over me.

LOL: Google – yeah, that’s this funny looking page which always shows first thing when I switch on my computer. Don’t know why and how. Seems to know everything. Like HM IR, the MI6 and Jeremy Clarksen…

HM IR! Now there’s a name I’ve not heard in a while. They became HMRC while I was still working for them, which shows how long it’s been since I had a proper job.

Hey, am ex-Gov too. BBSRC. Decided to create my own “improper” job last year – means your ex-employer’s watching…BTW, the webcomic builder…cool idea!

It certainly sounds like you had a far more interesting government overlord than I did! As for them watching, that’s always true. Revenue and Customs watches everything; although I’m not yet convinced that it sees much of what it watches.
Thanks for the nice comments about The Webcomic Builder. I’m really hoping this takes off and becomes a useful resource for people.
